Frequently Asked Questions

• How many photos / prints will I get?

  It depends on the Package you choose:

  Smash Cake: 10 Smash Cake Digital Photos

  Smash Cake / Family: 20 Baby and Family (Parents, Siblings, Grandparents, etc.)

  Smash Cake / Value: 25 Baby and Family (Parents, Siblings, Grandparents, etc.) + 8″ x 10″ 20-Page Photo Album

  For any Package you can order extra Regular Prints, Canvas Prints or Photo Albums. Please contact me for prices and details.

• How do I get prepared for the Photo Session?

  If you'd like Smash Cake photos on your baby's actual birthday, book a photo session one month in advance because I'll need up to three weeks to hand-retouch each photos.

  Please, please, please introduce your baby to cake prior to photo session as some babies don't like the feel of the cake and refuse to touch it. Don't worry though, I still can do cake-less photo session.

  If you'd like a specific costume for your baby as well as specific decorations, please order them well in advance as shipping might take time.

• What do you provide for the Photo Session?

  I'll provide backdrops, regular (non-Helium) balloons, decorations, banners, fans, fringes. Feel free to bring Helium balloons or whatever you think will fit into the photo session.

• What kind of cake should I get?

  6-inch, no chocolate, no hard icing, please.

• What happens After My Photo Session?

  There are Three Easy Steps:

  1. Within a week after your photo session you'll receive a link. You open the link on either your smartphone or computer to select the photos you'd like me to hand-retouch. The number of photos depends on your package.

  2. Once you've submitted your selection, I'll start hand-retouching each of your photos to achieve best possible quality. This takes up to two weeks.

  3. You'll receive a link to your Web Gallery to share with relatives and friends. I'll also mail a USB Flash Drive to you at that time which will arrive to your mailbox within 1-2 business days.

  (Optional) If your package incudes Photo Album and/or Acrylic Print, I'll get them printed in Toronto's top Photo Lab taking care of all creative and technical aspects. I'll then deliver your prints right to your place.

• When do I have to pay?

  You normally pay in full when your Photo Session is finished.

• Do you photograph at Home or in a Studio?

  I am an On-Location Photographer, so I'll bring my Portable Professional Studio right to your place so that you can relax while I photograph your Little One.

• Which payment methods do you accept and/or prefer?

  I accept major Credit/Debit cards through TD machine, email transfers, cheques and cash.

• What time does your Photo Session start?

  Normally I start at 10 am when newborns/babies are the cutest and the most collaborative.

• When will I get my photos?

  Hand-retouching takes up to two weeks to complete once you have selected your photos.

• How do I get my digital photos?

  You will receive your photos on a USB Flash Drive. You can also download them.

• How do I select my photos?

• How do I print my photos for "Print Yourself & Save" Pakages?

  Take your USB Flash Drive to a store that provides photo printing services, such as Costco, Walmart, Super Store, Staples, etc. and print there as much as you like for cheap.

• Can I Print Myself larger Canvas/Acrylic/Metal prints, Photo Albums, etc.?

  You definitely can! Your images are Hi-Res, so take your USB Flash Drive to a printing shop and print as large as you'd like. Still you might consider ordering the prints/albums from me as I work closely with printing vendors to make sure that the quality of your print is the best possible. I handle all technical details, make sure the colors are true, etc. Then I deliver the prints right to your place. • I'd like to give a Photo Session as a gift

  I'll be happy to provide you with a Gift Certificate valid for 6 months.

• I am concerned about safety of Strobes/Flashes for Newborn's eyes

  As far as I know Strobes/Flashes haven't been proven unsafe for Newborns' eyes. Still I'll happily replace the strobes with professional continuous light at your request. I also use natural light where available.
